“We love to entertain our family and friends,” gushes Rose of the Westridge Estates home she shares with her husband, Steve Chegwin.  Nestled on Shadow Rock Lane, this 4,100 square foot house boasts three garages, four bedrooms, a game room and loft, all in a decidedly airy old-world feel.  Built in 2004, Rose and Steve have created their only little private paradise in the heart of Valencia with the help of interior decorator Ann Peters.

Dreams really do come true. Norma Gonzalez-Schultz and Marc Schultz realized that when they purchased their ranch-style home in September of 2009.  “We have both worked very hard to make it happen,” states Marc, a wealth advisor and Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo in Beverly Hills and Norma Gonzalez-Schultz, a Marriage and Family Therapist (Intern), employed with the Valley Trauma Center, a non-profit multicultural organization dedicated to the elimination of sexual and interpersonal violence and the development of healthy individuals and families through healing empowerment and increased public awareness.

Artist’s Holiday Retreat

Sue McMichael came about her artistic talents rightly.  Her father was an artist and her aunt was one of the original Disney animators.  Their work, and Sue’s, is prominently displayed in her home for the annual festive Holiday Home Tour sponsored by the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Home Tour League this year.  
Sue and Byron McMichael are nine-year residents of the Belcrest home in Stevenson Ranch.  The 3,600 square foot home features five bedrooms and four baths.  The décor, described by Sue as “traditional yet eclectic” features deep wine, lime green and gold tones.

World Travelers With Old World Style

Tim Patterson and Jill Jones’ custom estate in Hasley Canyon is a breathtaking tribute to their international travel and fondness for eclectic and ornate old world style.
Tim and Jill designed and custom built the home over 20 years ago.  Inspired by stately hotels in Europe, Tim and Jill designed a home “with soaring spaces and cozy places.”  They also accomplished the style without the use of a decorator, choosing instead to adorn the home with furniture and artwork discovered on their travels.  

Eclectic Artistry in Westridge

“This is a developer’s home, but it is as close to custom as it can be,” said Wally Hawkins, about the Westridge Estates home he shares with his wife, Dree deClamecy.  Purchased sight-unseen in 2003, the couple worked with the builder from the ground up on every detail. This lovely 4,300 square foot home features 5 bedrooms and 6 baths.  The “old world eclectic” style was achieved with the help of interior designer Jean Frey, ASID, with accessory staging by Barbara Sanguinetti, The Home Refiner.

In 2003, Jill Jackson moved from Burbank to Santa Clarita, instantly falling in love with her Bridgeport home.  The 3,000 square foot home features four bedrooms, four baths, a large side yard, and a serene location on the lake.  Jill shares the home with her fiancé, Bill Friedman, and Bill’s 10-year-old daughter, Kaylee.

A passion for Vegas, entertaining and gaming is apparent in the lovely Saugus home of David and Kelly Toneman.  Indeed much of the furniture in the home was purchased in Las Vegas, a frequent vacation spot for the couple.
